These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Smallr application ("App") available on the Mac App Store and as a direct download. By downloading or using Smallr, you agree to these Terms.
License
Smallr is licensed, not sold. Upon purchase, you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App on Mac devices you own or control, subject to the App Store Terms and Conditions or the terms of the direct download license.
Acceptable Use
You agree to use Smallr only for lawful purposes. You may not:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Attempt to circumvent any security features
- Use the App to infringe on intellectual property rights
- Distribute modified versions of the App
Content You Process
You retain all rights to the files you process with Smallr. We do not claim ownership of your content. Because all processing is local, we never access, store, or transmit your files.
Purchases and Refunds
Smallr is offered as a one-time purchase. Pricing is displayed at the point of sale. All purchases are handled by Apple via the Mac App Store or through our direct download payment processor. Refund requests should be directed to Apple for App Store purchases.
Updates
We may release updates to improve functionality or fix issues. Updates may be delivered automatically through the App Store or made available as a new download from our website.
Termination
You may stop using Smallr at any time. We reserve the right to terminate your license if you violate these Terms.
Disclaimer of Warranties
Smallr is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. While we strive for quality, we do not guarantee that the App will be error-free or that compression results will meet your specific requirements.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Smallr.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which you reside, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Smallr after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
